Safety and reporting
TrippySMP is a game server with text chat, and some of the people who play are under 18. If you see illegal content, threats, harassment, or someone trying to get personal details or pictures from a young player, report it.
How to report
- In game:
/report <player> <reason>sends your message to every staff member who is online. If nobody answers, use email or Discord as well. - Email: support@trippysmp.com reaches the owner even when nobody is online.
- Discord: once you have accepted the server rules, post in #support at discord.gg/zTjWYTAtfb. Each post opens its own thread. Use #appeals to challenge a mute or ban.
The owner, Emir Kuliev, is responsible for safety on TrippySMP and checks reports every day. He removes illegal content as soon as he knows about it, mutes or bans the player, and keeps the evidence.
If someone is in danger
If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999. If an adult is talking to a child in a sexual way or asking to meet, report it to CEOP as well as to us. Children and young people can talk to Childline on 0800 1111 or at childline.org.uk.
Good to know
- An automatic chat filter checks chat and private messages before they are sent. It stops slurs, phone numbers, email addresses, links, Discord invites and server addresses. The sender is told why, staff can see the stopped message, and three stopped messages in ten minutes mean a five-minute mute. It does not stop ordinary swearing, and it does not read signs or books.
- Reports made with
/reportgo to staff only, and the chat filter does not check them, so you can quote exactly what was said. Staff can also find the original message in the logs. /ignore <player>stops you seeing someone's chat and private messages.- On our Discord, Discord's AutoMod blocks slurs, sexual content, swearing and invites to other Discord servers.
- Chat and private messages are kept in the server logs for 90 days so reports can be checked. Chat in the general channel also appears in #ingame-chat on Discord.
- The public map at map.trippysmp.com shows towns and their mayors. It never shows players or where they are.
- Never share your real name, where you live, your school, your phone number or your social media in chat. Staff never ask for passwords or personal details.
Parents and guardians
Email support@trippysmp.com about your child's account or data. We can tell you what we hold, delete it, or block the account from the server. The privacy policy starts with a short version written for young players.
