Terms of service

TrippySMP is not an official Minecraft product. It is not approved by or associated with Mojang or Microsoft.

1. The service

TrippySMP is a community Minecraft server operated by Emir Kuliev, trading as TrippySMP ("we", "us"). By joining the server or our Discord, or by buying from our store once it opens, you agree to these terms and to the server rules.

2. Age

You must be 13 or older to play on TrippySMP or to join our Discord. If you are under 18, you need a parent's or guardian's permission before buying anything from the store, and the parent or guardian must be the cardholder or authorise the purchase.

3. The store

The store is not open yet. When it opens, these terms apply to anything bought from it:

• Everything sold is a licence to use digital content on this server. It has no real-world value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be moved to another server.
• Tebex Limited processes purchases as merchant of record, and Tebex's checkout terms also apply. Prices include VAT where it applies to you.
• Digital content is delivered straight away. By ticking the box at checkout you ask for immediate delivery and accept that you lose the 14-day right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 once delivery starts.
• Subscriptions renew monthly until you cancel them in the store. Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not refund the current month.
• The refund policy sets out when we give refunds.

4. Conduct

The server rules, posted in the game, on this website and on Discord, are part of these terms. We may mute, kick, suspend or ban accounts that break them, without a refund. One account per person. A chargeback on a genuine purchase can lead to a permanent ban. We look at each case before deciding.

5. Illegal and harmful content

You must not post or share illegal content, or use TrippySMP to commit or help with a crime. You must also not post pornographic or sexual content, content that encourages, promotes or gives instructions for suicide, self-harm or an eating disorder, abuse, hate, bullying or threats, or anyone's personal details. This covers chat, private messages, signs, books, item names, town and nation names and boards, and builds.

How we protect players from it:

• The owner reviews every report and removes illegal content as soon as he is aware of it. In practice that means muting or banning the player, deleting the content where it can be deleted (including copies on our Discord), and undoing builds, signs and chest changes from the block history.
• An automatic chat filter checks chat, private messages and the text of commands such as /msg, /me, /mail and /nick before they are sent. It stops slurs and hate phrases, phone numbers, email addresses, links, Discord invites and server addresses, except links to trippysmp.com and our own Discord invite. A stopped message is not sent to anyone, the sender is told which rule it broke, and staff can see it. Three stopped messages within ten minutes mean an automatic five-minute mute.
• The filter does not check signs, books, item names, or town and nation names and boards, and no filter catches everything. Apart from it we use no automated tools to find harmful content in the game. We act on reports and on what staff see.
• On our Discord, Discord's AutoMod blocks slurs, sexual content, swearing and invites to other Discord servers.
• Accounts run by or on behalf of a proscribed organisation are removed.
• Where content suggests a child is at risk or someone is in danger, we keep the evidence and report it to the police or to CEOP.
• Any player can use /ignore <player> to stop seeing another player's chat and private messages.

To report something, use /report <player> <reason> in game, post in #support on Discord, or email support@trippysmp.com. To complain about a decision we made, such as a mute, a ban or content we removed, post in #appeals on Discord or email the same address. The person responsible for safety on TrippySMP is Emir Kuliev. The safety page has more detail.

6. Changes and closure

We can change the game, its rules, the store, seasons and prices at any time. Seasons reset, and in-game progress does not carry over unless a product says so. If the server closes we will give at least 30 days' notice on the website and Discord, and stop selling time-based products before that date.

7. Liability

We provide the server "as is". We are not liable for losses caused by downtime, data loss, bugs, or the actions of other players, except where the law does not allow us to exclude liability. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

8. Privacy

The privacy policy explains what we collect and why.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
